LeagueRep needs a Junior Social Media Specialist (remote).

Job responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts of the company and their small sports leagues - you'll be responsible for posting the content, managing the comments section by responding to them, preparing the appropriate engaging content (visuals and texts) for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok primarily, and also managing YouTube a little bit. So, you’ll have not one profile but a portfolio of channels
  • Maintain a content strategy - you'll be the one to decide what content to post a month ahead, when and on what social media platforms. Therefore, we need you to be ready to understand the business fast, be flexible & agile
  • Also, you might be asked to create/update/maintain some landing pages on WordPress or any other similar platform

Required qualifications

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. You'll represent an English-speaking company, so you should be a good writer, understand the tone of voice of the brand, and the team is native in English, so we don’t want to see or hear any mistakes.
  • Passion for sports - you're fond of different sports and can easily understand the needs of each audience (i.e. what golf, soccer, rugby, etc. fans would love to read on social media).
  • Experience in writing content in English - you can catch the tone-of-voice of the needed audience and you know how to work with written content for social media, making texts catchy and engaging. We’ll request examples of your previous projects in the test assignment.
  • Video-editing & image-editing skills - you can easily create engaging content for any social media platform.
  • Experience with any marketing analytics tool (for example, Hootsuite).
  • End-to-end social media experience: you have cases when you started with a strategy from scratch and ended up posting everything that you’ve created and analyzing the results.

A meeting with the representatives of the Swedish company "Evolution Armenia" was held at the YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication. During the meeting, they presented what opportunities and advantages YSU students have in terms of working in the company and doing internships.
