The folk orhcestra is one of the groups in YSU Culture centre, which was founded in 2014. Since the foundation the orchestra has taken part in various events, festivals, concerts,  shootings that have been organized by YSU and other institutions. 

The orchestra is consists of  15 members. The classes are held on every Monday and Wednesday, with two-hour duration.

The artistic director is musician Armen Ayvazyan
