Awards Received
AshotMelkonian was awarded a “MovsesKhorenatsi” medal as per the RA President’s Decree as of 8 October 2003 and a medal for active participation in the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide as per RA Prime Minister’ decree as of 2005. He was also awarded other medals (YSU, Yerevan Medical and Pedagogical Universities’ gold medals, GareginNzhdeh, Fridtjof Nansen, AkselBakunts medals). In August 2009, he was granted the title of honorary citizen of Akhalkalaki
