"LEADING VISIONARY SCIENTISTS TEACH AT YSU". KHACHATUR MANUKYAN
Khachatur Manukyan is a student of the YSU Radiophysics faculty. We talked with him about choosing his profession, scientific activities, plans, and other issues.

Khachatur tells.

I have always been convinced that the most professional and trained specialists teach at YSU.

In order to get a quality education, I entered Yerevan State University. My father is the closest to science in my family, and it was on his advice that I entered the Faculty of Radiophysics. Still in the first year, being acquainted with my profession, I realized that I had made the right choice.

Radiophysics is a modern profession

I study in the department of physics of semiconductors and microelectronics, and I explore this field with great interest. I can confidently say that it is the fastest growing, most remarkable, promising, and highly relevant profession for those interested in physical sciences.

Science, programming, sports. I choose to do science.

Along with getting an education, and being interested in electronics, and the physics of semiconductors, I work as a programmer. By the way, I recently started working in the semiconductor laboratory.

I have been playing sports since I was four years old, more specifically, ice hockey. Having many preferences, I have made my final decision. I see myself in science. I assure you that the scientist's work has a great role and importance for humanity.

Doing science involves going through a difficult path.

I am a beginner in this field, still learning about radio communication, antennas, receivers, converters, etc. Now I admire the works and discoveries made by scientists. It is extremely important for me that in the Faculty of Radiophysics I not only get theoretical knowledge but also have the opportunity to ask for advice from professionals in the field of science and ask questions that cannot be found on the Internet and in books. I can confidently say that leading theoreticians-scientists teach at YSU.

I want to make my contribution to technological development in Armenia and have already made certain steps in science. Only a strong will is needed to acquire knowledge, develop, and succeed.
