Two scientists, recommended by YSU Academic Council, were elected academician and associate member of the RA National Academy of Sciences.

YSU Trade Union Organization leads the top three of the university trade unions.

On December 16-17, the pupils of primary school #2 of Armavir, secondary school of Lernagog village and primary school #2 of Karakert village visited YSU.

The last session of the Academic Council of YSU in 2014 was held. Seven issues were on the agenda.

Representatives of the French universities Montpellier -1 and Montpellier -2 were received by YSU administration.

Several meetings with schoolchildren were made in November. These meetings are aimed at the professional orientation of future entrants of the HEI.
