On the 5th of May the fourth interuniversitarian contest "We read, speak and sing in Russian" came to its finish line.

In spite of the fact that the jury made efforts to leave outside YSU team from the competition, the latter, however, appeared in the final.

"The war for Armenians will never end... Once the bullets will be needed"

On the 18th of December the results of Contest of Young Creators were summarized in the hall of the new building of the Faculty of Philology.

"She is the last of our mohicans. We must do all for the students to contact with such personalities, as Varduhy Varderesyan is and to recognize and evaluate their contribution", - said Karine Davtyan, the Director of the Culture Center of YSU.

The ensemble of violinists and the chorus of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan presented a concert program In Yerevan State University on the 30th of November.

The 4th International Performing Arts Festival "Highfest" was organized in Yerevan from 4th to 14th of October. This year the number of participants was quite big, 75 from 35 countries.

On October 18 famous opera singer Hasmik Papyan was on a visit to the hall after Charents in YSU. The singer spoke about herself and answered students' questions.
