Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Gegham Petrosyan held a meeting with the master students of the faculty. This beautiful tradition was established by him six years ago.
“I make a stress on the dialogue between dean and students. I personally know almost all the students, but during such meetings many important problems are often solved. Students come forward with ideas and suggestions, which is appraisable,” – said Mr. Petrosyan.
The focus was made not only on the successes and achievements, but the omissions, the necessity of the curricula for masters in full compliance with the requirements of our days.
“I am for the idea that the curricula for the baccalaureate and master course should be different. As for the master courses, here more accents should be made on the development of skills. We have undertaken steps to solve this issue,” - said Mr. Petrosyan.
Dean of the Faculty of International Relations also answered a number of questions. For example only one projector is available at the faculty and this fact often causes problems.
“There are some lecturers who are entering the auditorium without a definite study plan. We would like the study plans to be revised,” - said one of the students.
In response to the questions Mr. Petrosyan said from now on he will follow the designing of the correct study plans: “The lecturer without a study plan should not deliver lectures. And as for the projector, we will solve this issue very soon.”
Mr. Petrosyan also listened to the suggestions and requests made by students. He promised to solve these issues, advising students to be more active in their researches.
