LEGISLATIVE ISSUES INTERPRETED BY STUDENTS
Armenian Higher Educational Institutions congratulate YSU Faculty of Law on the occasion of its 75th anniversary of foundation.

The interuniversity conference, headed Current legislative issues in the RA, organized by Student Council and Student Scientific Society of this faculty, focused on The family impact on juvenile crime, Criminal liability of juridical persons, Lawyers service: necessity or luxury? and other topics.

The working days are 12th and 13th of December. The invitations were sent to about 30 HEI, but only six of them responded. 31 reports are expected to be presented by students from different HEI during this conference.

It is a prefect opportunity to discuss the existing issues in this area and to find ways of solutions for them. It is important both for students and professorial staff, as they also learn about new ideas and standpoints. The topic is too large, which will have its positive impact on all the process, - said YSU Faculty of Law SSS Chairman Anahit Manasyan.

The traditional conference is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of facultys foundation. Authors of best works will be awarded. A special prize is fixed by the President of Causational Court of the RA this year. The holder will be the student, who will make best report on this structure. There are also special and challenge prizes by Union of Lawyers.

The winners are decided by jury, which is formed from CC members Zinavor Ghukasyan, Hrant Nazaryan and YSU Faculty of Law Civil Processing Chair Sergey Meghryan.

We see the Olympic principle here, which states that participation is more important, than the victory. Anyway, I think the contest will be on a high level, - said Dean of the faculty Gagik Ghazinyan.

It is important for everybody when his activities are appreciated. Here we express it via prizes. I am sure our students do not have any mercenary goals. All scientific works, presented by them, are very serious and everybody tries to represent his idea, - said Anahit Manasyan.
