THE AMOUNT OF YSU TUITION FEES FOR THE 2021-22 ACADEMIC YEAR HAS BEEN APPROVED. THE SESSION OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL WAS HELD
The online session of YSU Academic Council on 6 agenda and current issues took place today.

On the first issue of the agenda, YSU Academic Secretary Leon Hovsepyan presented to the Academic Council for approval the schedule of sessions of the second half of the 2020-2021 academic year, according to which it is planned to hold 4 sessions, which include 16 questions.

According to the next item on the agenda, YSU Vice-Rector Rafael Barkhudaryan presented the amount of YSU tuition fees for the 2021-2022 academic year to the Academic Council for approval.

He noted that, in fact, there are no changes, only a new bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Sociology has been added, the amount of which has been set at the same level as the master's degree fee of the same program.

The Academic Council approved the amount of tuition by voting.

Then the head of the educational-methodical department Hrant Zhamharyan presented the list of students receiving nominal scholarships for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, according to which there are 54 nominal scholarships, 58 candidates. it was also confirmed.

According to him, a working group has been formed to solve the problem, which has set the main criteria that will guide the teaching staff.

He said that the developed project will be sent to the members of the Academic Council and will be submitted for approval.

Barkhudaryan also spoke about the spread of COVID 19, stating that the observance of anti-epidemic rules should be tightened.
