TWO ALUMNI OF FACULTY OF PHYSICS GET “BEST MASTER’S THESIS” AWARD
The ceremony of handing “Best Master’s Thesis” award after the First Dean of YSU Faculty of Physics. Correspondence member of the NAS, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Norayr Kocharyan was held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Physics.

The Dean of the Faculty of Physics Rafik Hakobyan, the teaching staff of the Faculty, N.Kocharyan’s son Armen Kocharyan were present at the event.

Rafik Hakobyan noted that since 2003, N. Kocharyan’s sons Karen and Armen Kocharyan initiated and funded “The Best master Thesis” award which is annually given to the alumnus of the faculty who defends best thesis. We’d like to note that Classroom 310 of the Faculty of Physics was named after N. Kocharyan in commemoration of his contribution.

This year the prize has been awarded by Anna Ayvazyan and Tigran Petrosyan. The winners got monetary reward and honorary diplomas.
