COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF IJEVAN BRANCH DIRECTOR
The Board of Trustees of the Yerevan State University Foundation announces an open competition for the position of YSU IB Director (hereinafter Director).

The Director shall contribute to the development of the teaching and  research work of the four faculties and the continuous introduction of excellence in the field of student service, cooperation with other faculties of YSU, as well as cooperation with the educational institutions of the region.

Working with YSU staff, he / she should ensure student success, support the management of the faculties and staff of IB, ensure responsible use of IB's financial, human and material resources.

Candidates with at least a candidate's degree and associate degree may apply.

The competition will be held in 2020. March 16, at Yerevan State University.

Since the morning of December 12th, a group of Azerbaijani civilians disguised as environmentalists have imposed a blockade on the Goris-Stepanakert highway (the Lachin Corridor) which is currently the only route linking Nagorno-Karabakh to the outside world. On top of that, during bitterly cold winter Azerbaijan had shut off natural gas supplies leaving the civilians in the territory without heating for 75 hours.

According to the agreement approved today, the two universities will carry out exchange programs for professors, researchers and students, will exchange scientific, professional literature, periodicals and other materials, will organize joint research programs, conferences and other events.
