EVERYONE WILL TAKE WITH THEMSELVES A PARTICLE OF ORIENT: ALUMNI OF CHAIRS OF ARABIC STUDIES AND IRANIAN STUDIES GET THEIR DIPLOMAS
The ceremony of handing diplomas to the alumni of the Chairs of Arabic Studies and Iranian Studies of the academic year of 2018/2019 was held in Ye.Charents classroom of YSU.

The representatives of the faculty, parents and friends of the alumni were present at the ceremony.

The Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Professor Ruben Melkonyan congratulated the students on their graduation.

“You have got an interesting title-the title of being a part of university community, an alumnus of the oldest university of Armenia. And this title will follow you throughout your life”, said Pr. Melkonyan.
The Dean of the Faculty added that Oriental Studies is not just a profession but a way of life and thinking.

The head of the Chair of Iranian Studies Vardan Voskanyan and the head of the Chair of Arabic Studies Hayk Kocharyan wished the alumni a lot of success.

The alumni thanked the administration of the Faculty and their lecturers for the knowledge they had got, for opening the secrets of ancient Orient before them.

The ceremony of handing the diplomas was held afterwards.
