CHANGES IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
From the new academic year, the revised version of the organization of educational process for YSU bachelor’s and master’s degree programs will operate.

YSU bachelor and master degree curriculum changes are mainly related to the organization of examinations and tests, knowledge testing and assessment, students’ attendance, etc.

Under the new order, a maximum of 5 exams will be conducted for each semester of the bachelor’s degree program, with the exception of the first semester where the number of exams will not exceed 3.

Each note in the test/final exam journal will be made only in the presence of the student.

According to the new order, the organization of students’ knowledge assessment has also changed. There will be no more 2 points for the student’s attendance as it was previously. Accordingly, the evaluation of the courses that will be summarized by the final assessment will be based on the results of 2 midterm examinations during the semester, each of which will have a maximum of 5 points (instead of the previous 4) and the final examination, which can be evaluated at maximum 10 points.

A number of other changes have also been made.

It should be noted that the amended order has come into force from September 1, 2017-2018.
