TWO WINNERS REPRESENT YSU
On May 19, the results of the first round of the competition, announced by “Rosgosstrakh Armenia”, were announced at Armenia Marriott hotel.

The competition is open to students, who study economics at the different HEI of Armenia. It consists of two phases. In the first round participants had to write papers on the topics, related to the insurance.

13 presentations were made. In general, 60 students had applied this year. From seven topics, offered by the company, students had mainly selected two - agricultural insurance and mandatory health insurance.

As a result, the top three winners were announced. They received a cash prize (100,000 drams) and the opportunity to participate in the second round, a phase of the creation of new products. Certificates to the participants were handed by the head of personnel management department of “Rosgosstrakh Armenia” Anahit Astabatsyan.

Two of the winners are the 4th year students of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management Shushan Gyochanyan and Sinara Gharibyan. The third one, 1st year Master student Anahit Avetisyan, represent the State Economic University of Armenia.

YSU Vice-rector on Students, Alumni and Public Relations Ruben Markosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Hayk Sargsyan, vice-rectors of various HEI, directors of alumni and career centers were also present at this event.


In addition to the winners of the first round, students who receive scholarship of “Rosgosstrakh Armenia” will also have the opportunity to participate in the second stage of the competition.
