YSU Acting Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan said that this memorandum starts a new page of cooperation with "Armenpress" news agency, expressing hope that it will contribute to the training of even more qualified staff at the Faculty of Journalism.

According to him, the university has high expectations from this cooperation, especially considering the current state of the media field, which is flooded with false news, unverified information, etc. "Professional journalism is even more important in this context, as the press is the fourth power, and its impact on public and political life should not be underestimated."
