"DOCMEN" PROJECT CONTINUES ITS WORK
The work of the "DOCMEN" project, launched in the framework of the European Union's Erasmus + program, continues.

On December 6-8, in the framework of "DOCMEN" project, Prof. Motti Haridim from the Holon Institute of Technology (Israel) and Yuri Plotkin, Professor from the Berlin Technical University (Germany) visited YSU Information Technology Education and Research Center.

 

"The exchange of experience from the EU universities participating in the project is being continued by partner universities participating in the project. This year, the universities of Kazakhstan, Armenia and Israel have already begun to organize the scheduled visits of lecturers from European Union universities, as well as master classes," - Professor Samvel Shukuryan, Scientific Supervisor of the ITERC said.

 

Within the framework of the project, 9 lecturers of the Faculty of Radiophysics and Information Technology Education and Research Center of Yerevan State University have been trained at the leading universities of the partner countries (Turin Polytechnic University, Sofia Technical University, Krakow Technical University).

 

In July of 2017, Samvel Shukuryan participated in the working consultation at YSU, attended by the representatives of all partner universities, who had participated in the International Consortium in Turin.

 

In April of 2018, Professor Samvel Shukuryan will conduct master classes at the Berlin Technical University, Holon Institute of Technology and Bar-Ilan University.

 

During the visit, it is planned to discuss joint research programs and implementation of educational programs.

 

The project “Development of two cycle innovative curricula in microelectronic engineering” has been launched in the framework of the grant, received in 2015.
