Sociology, as a science, has to pass a great way for the development in Armenia. Now, here it is being used not for the very goal. So I welcome your initiative,-said dean of the faculty Lyudmila Haroutyunyan.

About 460 students study at our Faculty with only 5% present at the discussions of this type. This is not an unsatisfactory statistics, as not every student must make researches. The report made by Arevik Martirosyan is worth of being spoken about. She had focused on the role of sociology in the pre-election period. She spoke about the sociology as a political tool in Armenia. She had prepared the review of the articles from media, where the sociologist is characterized as a person, who makes just statistics and the science of sociology itself-venal.
