This meeting has already become traditional. We should also note that Mr. Nalbandyan has been awarded the title of YSU Honorary Professor. The meeting, held with the first-year students, was also attended by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan and Dean of this faculty Gegham Petrosyan.

Mr. Minister noted that it is quite possible that in future many of those present at this meeting today will become highly qualified diplomats. He highlighted here the role of the Diplomatic School of the RA MFA, where the alumni of YSU Faculty of International Relations continue their education.

"It is very important for our students to meet with Mr. Minister in the beginning of their studies. Good relations between the MFA and YSU also support the educational process," - said YSU Rector Aram Simonyan.

Then Edward Nalbandyan briefly presented the recent political developments and their impact on Armenia. He also focused on the April War and the following negotiation process.

He presented in details the initiatives in the framework of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, making focus on various meetings, forums, etc.

In the end of the meeting Edward Nalbandyan answered various questions, asked by students, which mainly related to the April War, relations of Armenia with neighboring countries and strategic partners, etc.
