40 YEARS LATER… AT YSU
40 YEARS LATER… AT YSU
The exhibition was a perfect opportunity to meet old friends, with whom you have spent your student years.

Today, the personal exhibition of the Candidate of Philology, graduate of YSU Faculty of Russian Philology Anush Babayan was held at YSU Cultural Center, which was attended not only by her fellows but also students, colleagues and friends. The organizers of the event were YSU Cultural Centre and Faculty of Russian Philology.

Anush Babayan currently delivers lectures at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. She started to create pictures 3-4 years ago. Acquaintance with the artist Marina Elyashevich during the meeting with the wives of the ambassadors became fatal for Anush Babayan. Having attended several classes, she started to create her works.

The exhibition date was not chosen at random. Today is April 7. In addition, this year the Russian Philology Faculty celebrated the 70th anniversary of its foundation and this year also marks the 40th anniversary of the artist’s graduation from the anniversary.

Congratulatory message was read by the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology Pavel Balayan during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Then the author presented her works, which are mainly based on the Chinese art.

“Each of my works has its name, as every man. They are alive, have their temperament, whims. This is my dialogue with the people around me,” - the artist said.

The opening ceremony was accompanied by poetry and musical performances by the students of YSU and Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University.

The exhibition consists of 40 works and will be open to visitors for 3 weeks.
