YSU CONTINUES TO EXPAND THE SCOPES OF COOPERATION
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between YSU and “GRC Knowledge Center” LLC.

Today YSU Rector received the representatives of “GRC Knowledge Center” LLC. Their delegation was composed of the Director of this LLC Hasmik Martirosyan and experts of this company Komitas Stepanyan, Azat Gabrielyan and Karen Sahakyan.

The goal was to organize for our students sessions and workshops on various topics related to “Risk Management” and “Auditing”.

Aram Simonyan welcomed the initiative and said that the university is willing to work with the private sector and implement joint projects.

“YSU, being one of the leading higher education institutions, is ready to assist and encourage its students to attend lectures by the internationally recognized experts,” - said the Rector and added that everything necessary for this process will be provided by our side.

“GRC Knowledge Center” organizes the risk management and auditing-related courses and plans to organize lectures by the internationally recognized experts.

“I have to thank the management of YSU for the response to our proposal. Years ago, when we were students, we actually did not have such opportunities to attend workshops, communicate with the private sector, as well gain practical skills. I am glad that YSU is open for such cooperation,” - said the company’s director Hasmik Martirosyan.

Aram Simonyan said that currently the risk management and auditing are topical areas, and this training will be useful for students in various contexts.

Representatives of the “GRC Knowledge Center” will present a plan at the next meeting, which will include the list of professions and teaching methods through which the above mentioned courses will also be possible to make certain professions.

The meeting was attended by YSU vice-rectors Alexander Grigoryan, Gegham Gevorgyan and Ruben Markosyan.
