The ceremony was attended by the RA Minister of Economy Artsvik Minasyan, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karine Harutyunyan, member of the Central Bank Board Armenak Darbinyan, YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, Vice-rector Ruben Markosyan, lecturers and others.
Hayk Sargsyan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, spoke about the programs aimed at the training of highly qualified specialists. Dean also focused on the competitive environment, highlighting the fact that the university education quality is permanently at a high level and it is evidenced by the number of students and their competitiveness in the labor market.
Minister of Economy Artsvik Minasyan, who has also graduated from this faculty and currently delivers lectures for future economists, congratulated the graduates wishing them success and professional achievements. The minister praised the role of the university, then underlined the important factors that students acquire during their studies: “Dear alumni, university is a place where you become specialists and worthy citizens. From here the development of the economy begins.”
YSU Rector Aram Simonyan congratulated the economists and said: “When you see the results of your work, you are proud of it. I also realize the difficulties that you will face. Naturally, it will not be easy, because the existing socio-economic situation in the world in terms of the competitiveness requires a great sense of responsibility, on the other hand, the ability to learn new and apply innovations.”
Graduates also expressed words of gratitude. Rector, RA Minister of Economy and others handed the diplomas.
