‘FROM THEATER TO OPERA’ IN ITALIAN. YSU COMPLETE LIST OF ‘ITALIAN LANGUAGE WEEK’ EVENTS
Hasmik Baghdasaryan, Head of the Chair of Romance Philology at the Faculty of European Languages and Communication, told us that October 21-28 is a celebration of the Italian Language Week, which is dedicated to different events.

According to her, every year the Chair of Romance Philology actively participates in the Italian Language Week, organizing various events with  lecturers and students of the Chair.

Gevorg Barseghyan, Dean of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication, made an opening speech at the event.

‘It is no secret that Italy is a particularly beloved country all over the world’: said Gevorg Barseghyan.

The Ambassador of Italy to the Republic of Armenia also delivered a welcoming speech.

‘It is very important for the students to master the culture as well, as it is also important and  the lecturers make it accessible to the students’: the ambassador said.

Daniele Frison, who is studying at Yerevan State University and has arrived in Armenia from Italy, in the framework of Erasmus + program, told us that this event was a very interesting experience for him.

‘It is a great honor for me to be part of this performance," said the Italian student, "the idea of the performance is wonderful because it has given me the opportunity to get to know my Armenian friends better and to strengthen our friendship outside the educational process.’
