The scientific conference “Eastern Partnership: target-practice-challenges” was held on November 18 in the ancient building (Collegium Maius) of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow (Poland). Armenia was represented by the Lecturer at the Chair of Political Institutions and Processes of YSU Faculty of International Relations, Doctor of Political Sciences Alexander Makarov and Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Narek Galstyan.
In the framework of the visit YSU representatives held meetings with the colleagues of the Jagiellonian University and reached a series of agreements with them.
The possibilities of cooperation, exchange of students and tutors were discussed with the lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations and Political Science Peter Bayor.
Among other agreements we should note about the cooperation in the sphere of the master’s program “Regional Policy” (YSU) and Yagelonyan University Regional Research Institute, as well as the educational program “International Relations and Regional Studies”. In the framework of the agreements students of YSU Faculty of International Relations from now on will have the opportunity to publish articles in the periodical “ARENA” of the Yagelonyan University.
As part of the reached agreements in April 2014 an agreement on cooperation was signed between YSU Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of International and Political Science of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow.
