THE YOUTH COURSE ORGANIZED BY YSU ALUMNI AND CAREER CENTER HAS STARTED
The course "Knowledge, skills and abilities for the labor market" has started today at YSU Schuman Hall, which is held within the framework of the program "Promoting youth inclusion through employment and participation".

It should be reminded that "Mandate of the Future" youth NGO, in cooperation with YSU Alumni and Career Center and with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, is implementing a program entitled "Promoting Youth Inclusion through Employment and Participation" started in Tsakhkadzor.

 

During the interactive course, the director of YSU Alumni and Career Center explained to the participants the difference between a CV and a resume, found out who applied for a job with the help of a CV, and who generally has an CV.

 

The speaker showed by her example that graduating from university with a red diploma is not enough to get a job.

 

 

She presented to the participants what is needed besides professional, academic knowledge to be in demand in the labor market.

STATEMENT OF YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY  ADDRESSED TO INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS REGARDING THE SITUATION CREATED AS A RESULT OF THE BLOCKADE IMPOSED ON THE LACHIN CORRIDOR
Since the morning of December 12th, a group of Azerbaijani civilians disguised as environmentalists have imposed a blockade on the Goris-Stepanakert highway (the Lachin Corridor) which is currently the only route linking Nagorno-Karabakh to the outside world. On top of that, during bitterly cold winter Azerbaijan had shut off natural gas supplies leaving the civilians in the territory without heating for 75 hours.
