“TUMANYAN’S PATRIOTIC MISSION HIGHLIGHTED IN MODERN PHILOSOPHY” LECTURE IN YSU CULTURAL CENTRE
Today, within the frames of “Cultural upbringing” program YSU Cultural Centre organized a lecture entitled “Tumanyan’s patriotic mission highlighted in modern philosophy”, which was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Greatest Armenian Poet Hovhannes Tumanyan.

The speaker was Tumanyan specialist Hrayr Ulubabyan.

The director of Cultural Centre Karine Davtyan, the students and alumni of the centre were present at the event.

Mr. Ulubabyan presenting the patriotic mission of Tumanyan noted that the great poet dedicated his whole life to saving his native people.

A meeting with Armenian composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mansuryan took place at YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, during which university rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented the maestro with YSU gold medal.
