Menua Soghomonyan graduated from the Faculty of International Relations. In 2004-2007 he got his postgraduate course at YSU. In 2007 defended the thesis “Armenian-British relationship in 1991-2000” and got PhD degree in History.
Being the Associate Professor of the Chair of Political Institutions and Processes of YSU, from 2007 to 2008, Menua Soghomonyan worked as a lecturer at Yerevan State Medical University Chair of History, and from 2008 to 2015 was the Assistant at the Chair of Political Institutions and Processes. From 2008 to 2011 worked as a Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, since 2011 was YSU Scientific Secretary.
M. Soghomonyan’s scientific interests include theories of international politics and international security, processes and conditions of decision making in foreign policy.

According to the agreement approved today, the two universities will carry out exchange programs for professors, researchers and students, will exchange scientific, professional literature, periodicals and other materials, will organize joint research programs, conferences and other events.

The sitting of the Board of Trustees of the Yerevan State University Foundation took place today in the conference hall of YSU Academic Council with 5 issues on the agenda, during which the chairman and the Secretary were elected.
