NEW CENTRE AND LABORATORIES WERE OPENED AT YSU
NEW CENTRE AND LABORATORIES WERE OPENED AT YSU
3 laboratories and 1 centre are at the disposal of our researchers from now on.

This initiative was funded by the RA State Committee for Science. The new centre and laboratories will operate at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics.

 

The laboratory at the Faculty of Physics will be occupied in the area of researches of quantum technologies and new substances. It will be supervised by the NAS RA Associate Member, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Gagik Kryuchkyan.

 

The newly opened unit at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics is called Mathematical Research Centre. It will be supervised by YSU Vice-rector on Scientific Policy and International Cooperation, NAS RA Academician, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Gegham Gevorgyan.

 

Researches in the area of strange quarks in white dwarfs and neutron stars will be conducted at the laboratory, opened at the Faculty of Radiophysics. The scientific supervisor of the laboratory is the Dean of this faculty, NAS RA Academician, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Yuri Vardanyan.

 

The next laboratory will operate in the structure of YSU Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology. It is called “Research laboratory in the field of English-language discourse of anti-Armenian propaganda”. The scientific supervisor is the Head of Chair of English Philology, NAS RA Academician, Doctor of Philology, Professor Seda Gasparyan.

 

The centre and laboratories were opened with the help of the state funding.
