The program, which is being implemented for 9 years, aims to give young people an opportunity to visit Artsakh in order to strengthen army-society relationship.
As we have already informed, before the Artsakh pilgrimage, Summer School “The Region and We” was also initiated by Vardanank Club. The 7-day tour participants are more active and motivated members of the Summer School. It is noteworthy that the children of perished freedom fighters, relatives of students-freedom fighters, graduates of YSU and others will also join the Artsakh pilgrimage.
“We are again going to Artsakh. A place where hundreds of Armenians have sacrificed their lives for survival. For the ninth time through this program we are launching new initiatives that are of great value,” - said Satenik Abrahamyan, President of “Vardanank” Club of Yerevan State University.
Visits to Hayravank, Dadivank, Gandzasar, Shushi, Stepanakert, Tigranakert, monuments and museums are envisaged during the pilgrimage to Artsakh. As every year, participants of the “United Armenia” program will visit the RA Armed Forces and a number of NKR Defense Army units. “Vardanank” members have already prepared a number of books for the military units, too.
The program also includes discussions, debates, readings, intellectual games, songs and dance lessons, meetings with high-ranking officials, public, cultural and military figures.
