PILGRIMAGE TO ARTSAKH TOOK PLACE
The ninth edition of one-week pilgrimage of YSU “Vardanank” Club to Artsakh, which this year was under the slogan “Nation-Army”, came to its finish line.

As we had already informed, on August 2, the traditional pilgrimage kicked off. It is supported by the RA Ministry of Defense and Yerevan State University. More than 60 students from YSU, including relatives of killed freedom fighters, YSU professors, employees and alumni, visited Gurgen Hayrapetyan School in the village of Vank of Martakert region.


The program included visits to the historical and cultural sites of Artsakh, discussions, intellectual games, literary and musical events.


During the pilgrimage participants were accompanied by Hero of Artsakh, Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan, legendary Commandos, who is one of the initiators of this program and all pilgrims. In the days of pilgrimage, dozens of pupils of the Vank school joined the people of Vardanants, whose enthusiasm was indescribable.


According to the Chairman of “Vardanank” Club Satenik Abrahamyan this program is of quite great importance in terms of the military-patriotic education of our generations.


Hero of Artsakh, Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan also highlighted the holding of this event.
