"PSYCHOLOGICAL VERNISSAGE-EXPO" - A PLATFORM FOR EFFECTIVE COOPERATION AND ACTIVITIES
Today, the 8th annual "Psychological Vernissage-EXPO" was held at YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology.

The aim of the exhibition organized by YSU Chair of General Psychology is to inform the public about the challenges of contemporary psychology and related professions, to provide students with the professional information, to give students the opportunity to present themselves in the labor market, to broaden the collaborative area of young professionals and to establish and strengthen ties between students and alumni.

Hrant Avanesyan, Head of the Chair of General Psychology, told us during the interview that every year the exhibition brings a novelty: "This year, we have envisaged awards for the best works published in the field of psychology (selected by students) via closed, secret voting."

"It is also important that our graduates take part in the event and help students by introducing them to the nuances and skills required in the field," - said the head of the chair.

This year, more than 20 psychological centers have been involved in the EXPO, whose representatives have presented their programs and offered their services.

Dean of YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology Alexan Baghdasaryan said that this event requires great work: "I would like to thank all organizers and participating centers for making this event a reality. This professional meeting, I think, will contribute to the development and cooperation in the field of the sector."

This year the exhibition included an award ceremony for the first time during which certificates were awarded for the "Best Lecturer", "Best Educational Manual" and "Best Monograph".

David Gevorgyan's "Palliative Psychology Multidisciplinary Training Course" was recognized as the "Best Educational Manual", Hrant Avanesyan's book "Coordination of Scientific and Practical Peculiarities of Projective Methods" was recognized as the "Best Monograph" and Elina Asriyan was recognized as the "Best Lecturer". Elda Green received an award for her contribution in the field of psychology posthumously.
