OPEN DOORS DAY AT THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
About 130 pupils from 9 high schools of Yerevan were received at the Faculty of International Relations today within the framework of the Open Doors Day at YSU.

At the initiative of YSU Pre-University Education Department, the event was aimed at providing future potential students with the information on the educational process, this faculty, as well as chairs and lecturers.

 

During the meeting Dean of the Faculty Gegham Petrosyan presented the history of the faculty, the curricula, the chairmen of the chairs, etc.

 

 

Nubar Chalmyan, Head of the Chair of Diplomatic Service and Communication, spoke about the profession of the diplomat, the important tools he needs to become a good specialist: “The diplomat should know 2 foreign languages. 8 languages are taught here: English, French, Spanish, German, Farsi, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese and Chinese.”

 

The importance of international relations and diplomacy in the life of the Armenian people was also presented focused on.

 

 

At the end of the meeting, the students of the Faculty of International Relations presented pupils the faculty and spoke about the most successful graduates of this faculty, too.
