RESULTS OF PRACTICE WERE SUMMARIZED
On September 8-10, 1st year students of the Service Department of YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology presented the results of educational practice.

The primary objective of the practice is to present the practical activities, applying modern methods, carried out during summer period, which were conducted in the framework of the “SuToMa” Program of the European Union funded “Tempus” project.

“Our students have had a rather eventful summer. All had an unprecedented high level of organization,” - said the Head of the Service Department Seyran Suvaryan and added that about 140 students have been involved in this process.

Before the start of the presentation, supervisor of the practice lecturer Gor Alexanyan made opening remarks, who not only praised the work done by students, but also presented the results of the survey, conducted among the alumni and students of the faculty.

“Our goal was to find out the percentage of the employed graduates of the Department of Service in this sphere and what role the knowledge obtained at YSU has played. It should be noted that the results are quite encouraging, because the respondents are employed in the communication and service industry, and the university education has been a major contributory factor here,” - said Gor Alexanyan.

We should note that the SSS of this faculty has largely supported the implementation of practical activities at this faculty.
