“TO BECOME A GOOD SPECIALIST ONE SHOULD FIRST LOVE HIS MOTHERLAND”: EDUARD NALBANDYAN
According to the tradition, RA Foreign Affairs Minister Eduard Nalbandyan visited YSU Faculty of International Relations.

In his welcoming speech Mr. Nalbandyan noted that it is an honor for him to meet with students, who just start to shape their way.

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan and Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Gegham Petrosyan also attended the meeting.

“I congratulate all the students, especially the freshmen on the new academic year. I wish everyone a year of achievements and success,” - said the rector and urged students to be more active at the meeting with the minister.

Instead of a long academic lecture, Eduard Nalbandyan chose to answer the students’ questions.

The issues voiced by the youth mainly referred to the Karabakh conflict, the negotiation process, the diplomatic processes in the international organizations and, of course, the secrets of becoming a good specialist.

“To become a good diplomat and generally good specialist, first of all, you must love your homeland; otherwise you are doomed to failure. It’s the way to become a good diplomat from the love and responsibility that you have towards your homeland and your people,” - the Minister emphasized.

Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani diplomatic relations and the Artsakh conflict, Eduard Nalbandyan briefed on the current stage of the process, touched upon the works carried out with international structures and their influence on the process of settlement of the conflict by negotiations.
