THE PROJECT “UNIVERSITY TOUR” WAS HELD AT YSU
The non-formal educational seminar was organized at YSU today in the frames of cooperation between YSU Alumni and Career Centre and “Global Media Lab” Company.

The goal of the “University Tour” is to make a focus on the necessary skills required currently, in 2017, for students in the process of career building.

 

In the beginning of the seminar Director of “Global Media Lab” Seda Vardanyan noted that YSU is the last stop of this project: “We chose 10 best universities in Armenia and we are glad we are finally at YSU today. I am also a graduate of YSU.”

 

Seda Vardanyan said the project is not only held in unique interactive format, but the game, which it contains, is based on the newly acquired knowledge and helps learn and perceive all better.

 

A workshop composed of several parts, according to the experts, helps to solve the paradox “there is no job without experience and no experience without a job”, break all the difficulties when writing CV, prepare for the job interview, as well as to create the right business image and implement individual marketing.

 

Communications manager of “Global Media Lab” Theresa Grigoryan, speaking of the employment issues and writing CV, advised students to be consistent and pay attention to the self-improvement: “Focus on the companies, review their work, strategy and make your CV in accordance with this all.”

 

Tereza Grigoryan also provided students with several ways of the effective CV writing, including video, infographics and animation form: “Unique example of creative CV is the writing on the packaging. There are many such examples.”

 

The speakers spoke about how to prepare for the effective interviews, what to do in the probation period, etc.

 

All participants had registered in advance on skill.am website and got tickets for the event participation.
