THE "VIDEO GAME LAB" LABORATORY WAS OPENED AT YSU
The opening of "Video Game lab" classroom, which is intended for video game development, took place today at YSU Faculty of Radiophysics.

The opening of this unique classroom within the framework of university-private partnership became possible as a result of cooperation between YSU and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia CJSC.

 

"We are glad that Alma Mater already has such an audience. It means that business-education cooperation is expanding. We will continue to create the best conditions for our students, and the private sector, in its turn, will contribute to the process of training qualified personnel at the university, "said YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan during the opening ceremony.

 

Arthur Sahakyan, General Director of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia CJSC, thanked the leadership of YSU, Faculty of Radiophysics for accepting the partnership proposal. "Close cooperation between the business sector and the education sector is really mutually beneficial. We highly appreciate the cooperation with YSU. ”

STATEMENT OF YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY  ADDRESSED TO INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS REGARDING THE SITUATION CREATED AS A RESULT OF THE BLOCKADE IMPOSED ON THE LACHIN CORRIDOR
Since the morning of December 12th, a group of Azerbaijani civilians disguised as environmentalists have imposed a blockade on the Goris-Stepanakert highway (the Lachin Corridor) which is currently the only route linking Nagorno-Karabakh to the outside world. On top of that, during bitterly cold winter Azerbaijan had shut off natural gas supplies leaving the civilians in the territory without heating for 75 hours.

YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, along with Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA Karen Trchunyan, hosted the delegation headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. For his activity and significant contribution to increasing inter-university bonds, the rector handed a certificate of gratitude to Myasnikovich.
