RA LEGAL SYSTEM RANKING BY YSU STUDENTS
Within the framework of the comparative business law the rating of the RA legal system has been implemented by the students of YSU Faculty of Law in a number of directions.

Since 2013, Allen and Overy, the UK's largest legal organization, has initiated the World Universities Comparative Law Project. The goal of the program is to rank the country's legal system by the students of the university which has the highest ranking.


The program was attended by students from different countries of the world including Oxford, Stockholm, Helsinki, Paris, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Egypt, China, Portugal, Venezuela, Turkey, Africa and a number of other universities.


In 2016, YSU Faculty of Law Chair of Civil Law initiated the "World Universities Comparative Law" project with the aim of making the English language report with financial, corporate, bankruptcy, business and land law, environmental protection and a range of other issues.


Master's degree students of the Faculty of Law Luiza Meliksetyan, Tigran Dadunts, Arpine Arakelyan, Bachelor's students Ruzanna Khudaverdyan, Harutyun Hovhannisyan and PhD student Lilit Petrosyan have been performing the rating system of the RA legal system within the framework of the comparative business law. In response to questions about the legal system of the Republic of Armenia, the students made a report, clearly presenting the legislative regulations and judicial practice in specific areas.


Within the framework of the program, an English language report on financial, corporate, bankruptcy, business and land law, environmental protection and other regulatory issues and judicial practice has been prepared. The program was initiated, organized, and supported by the Head of Chair of Civil Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Vahram Avetisyan, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor David Serobyan, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Grigor Bekmezyan and Doctor of Law, Assistant Liparit Drmeyan.


YSU can further establish cooperation with different universities in the frames of this program (Oxford, Stockholm, Tokyo, Helsinki, Beijing, etc.).


It should be noted that the report on the Republic of Armenia in 2017 was published by Allen and Overy Law Firm. Certificates were sent to students participating in the program.
