BAKO SAHANKYAN HOSTS YSU DELEGATION
On April 5 the representatives of the university community who are in Artsakh with a three-day visit, had a meeting with the President of Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan.



YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, heads of YSU subdivisions, deans, lecturers and students, as well as members of Artsakh Government and officials were present at the meeting. Greeting those present the RA President Bako Sahakyan expressed delight with the fact that the visits of YSU community to Artsakh are regular.



YSU Rector Aram Simonyan expressing gratitude for warm welcome presented the goal of the three-day visit-to found a park after YSU 100th anniversary. “Besides the tree planting we also implement other events. This time we organized a conference dedicated to the problems of Artsakh and the region. We hope it will get positive results from scientific and analytical point of view”.



YSU Rector stressed that the conference is also special, as those young lecturers and researchers make reports on it who have never participated in any conference in Artsakh. The Rector said that while organizing the visits they try to involve in the delegation those students who have never been to Artsakh.



YSU Rector thanked Bako Sahakyan for always finding time to meet with YSU delegation. “These meetings are important for us as they make it possible to understand all the existing problems on the spot”.



During the meeting the parties discussed a number of issues and new perspectives of cooperation.
