YSU HAS A LEADING POSITION ON FACEBOOK
The number of followers of the official Facebook page of Yerevan State University is more than 20,000 now (https://www.facebook.com/ysu.am).

Only this week, YSU posts have received 200 likes. The most read post last week was the article “RA Minister of Education and Science delivered a lecture for students”. As for this month the most popular post was the decision of the RA Government regarding the working days in January and the most read article this year was “The names of YSU Best students are announced”.

 

Daily visits to YSU official Facebook page are 7.000-8.000, of whom 66% are female and 34% are male.

 

The main visitors are the representatives of the 18-24 age groups, of whom 38% are women and 16% men.

 

The major part of the visitors is from the RA - 17,985 people, the Russian Federation - 437 and USA - 345 users.

 

Quite active is the messaging section. YSU Facebook page receives over 50 messages per day, answers to which are sent via Facebook” or by e-mail addresses of the users.

 

It should be noted that YSU official page on Facebook is updated daily, where the readers can find the latest news and events scheduled for the coming days.

 

YSU Facebook page has been operating since 2011. A number of other pages were also active at the same time, but the page https://www.facebook.com/ysu.am was recognized as an official page.

 

Many students and members of staff mention YSU as their educational institution or working place on their personal accounts, so we call on everybody to use the official page.
