YSU ASSISTS ITS STUDENTS
YSU students, who represent the villages of Armavir region, which were hit by hail, will be provided with 50 % discount for tuition fees.

Tuition fees of 83 students from this region were discounted by 50% in the first semester of 2013-2014 academic year, which generally made up more than 10 million AMD. This program is continued also in this semester and these students again can take the advantage of this opportunity and receive a tuition fee discount.

 

Head of YSU Division on Student Affairs Vahagn Varagyan noted that 60 students have applied in the second semester of 2013-2014 academic year and received 50 % discount.

 

“The total amount of money, allocated for the discounts of students from the villages of Armavir region, hit by hail, is about 20 million AMD in this academic year,” - said Mr. Varagyan and added that in addition to this segment, the discount for tuition fees is available for socially insecure students, those who have two and more students in the family, those living in high mountain zones, as well as students from bordering regions of Armenia.

 

Head of YSU Educational-methodological Department Hrant Zhamharyan said the tuition fee discount is available for the students, who are from the villages of Armavir region, hit by hail, in any case regardless the average quality rating (AQR) or liquidities in the previous semester.
