The seminar was organized by Student Scientific Society of Faculty of Journalism of Yerevan State University. We know that in the developing world, the role of PR is very big and important, especially when it is carried out through the media. In most cases, without the help of the media one can not reach the effectiveness of PR. That is why we decided to explore this area, - noted the SSS Chairman of the Faculty of Journalism Varditer Ghazaryan.
Students had mostly covered the subject of various forms of PR, as well as language and legal problems of television and radio ads. Some methods of solving these problems were proposed, too.
As a theme of the report I chose the political PR, because we are confronted daily with it and often unaware of this. I think we need PR specialists and experience of literate PR. Foreign practice will be very useful for us, especially if our specialists are trained or retrained abroad, - considers the 3rd year student of the Faculty of journalism Mariam Mughdusyan.
When preparing reports lecturers were working with students of to advise them and examined their works before the seminar.
Freshman Mary Mamyan has not yet passed the subject of Public Relations and Advertising in the media, but attempts to analyze the use of PR-technologies in the domestic media in all forms.
I have chosen the theme The Role of PR in show business. It is interesting, because sometimes, for raising the rating of some personalities, the audience is misinformed. And more precisely, PR is often accompanied by violations of ethics and, why not, the law, - said Mary.
Through such initiatives, we identify those students who see their future not only in practical journalism, but also with science of journalism, - said the dean of the Faculty of Journalism Naghash Martirosyan.
By the means of the Faculty some books were purchased, which together with the certificates were awarded to students participating in the workshop. These are basically books telling about PR, advertising and the history of journalism.
