On the 27th of May YSU Comedy Club Team won the final game of Comedy Club Student League. Our competitors were the teams of Yerevan State Economic University, Yerevan State Conservatory, Yerevan State Linguistic University and Eurasia University.
The topics of parliamentary elections and Eurovision dominated in the screenplays of all the participants of this final round. The audience was too satisfied with this choice. In the end the jury advised them all to use political themes moderately.
This performance of YSU team differed much from our previous performances. The soldiers from the Military Academy after V. Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defense of RA came on the stage with our team. The final round of the Student League finished with a joint march of the universitarians and soldiers.
The jury was displeased with the final: they stated that the teams had prepared better for semi-finals. Excellent start, but bad finish,- said Head of the jury Abram Bakhchagulyan. And one of the members of jury Arthur Poghosyan, the Vice-minister on Youth and Cultural Issues of RA explained it with the great wish to win which caused the excitement. He added that generally the performance of YSU team was well organized.
Our efforts brought the expected results,- said YSU Vice-rector Arsen Karamyan and he is sure that our future steps will confirm the status of the winner.
A literary composition based on the works of the modern poet, and literary critic, YSU professor Henrik Edoyan was presented at YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center.
A meeting with Armenian composer, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mansuryan took place at YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, during which university rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented the maestro with YSU gold medal.
