THE INTELLECT OF LAWYERS IN FOCUS
YSU Faculty of Law students showed best results during the All-university Contests "What? Where When?"

17 faculties participated in the contest, devoted to the 90th anniversary of YSU foundation. Six teams progressed into finals. About 40 students from the faculties of Law, Philosophy and Psychology, Geography and Geology, Sociology, Oriental Studies and Theology competed in the final game.

The questions, which were 24, were too hard. The winner was decided with the advantage of one point. The winner team (6 members), Faculty of Law, managed to answer to 7 questions. Teams of the faculties of Theology and Geography and Geology were the runner-ups and third place holders correspondingly. Here again we saw the advantage of one point.

Head of the Faculty of Law team, 1st year master student Arsen Tavadyan states their success is conditioned with the experience in participating in such kinds of initiatives. We organize intellectual contests regularly at our faculty. I am satisfied with the results, shown by all participants. I would like to underline the team of the Faculty of Theology, - he said.

By the way, initially it was decided to organize an interuniversity contest. The contest was organized by YSU Student Council. Chairman of the Student Council Tsolak Akopyan states the tasks were really difficult and, so, it can be said for sure the winners intellectual level is high. The winners will be awarded certificates during the solemn ceremony on December 28 during the extended session of Student Council.
