The dean of the faculty Artsrun Avagyan greeted the participants.
He offered to observe a minute of silence in memory of the heroes killed in the Artsakh war, after which he referred to the student of the faculty, Arthur Sukiasyan, who died in the Artsakh war, noting that the gifted young man, despite his short life, will forever be remembered as a brave, courageous and patriotic young man.
Then, the professor of the faculty Zhenya Kalantaryan delivered a speech, touching upon the issue of the reflection of the Artsakh war in the literature created during the 30 years of the RA independence and the authors of those works.
Professor of the Faculty of Armenian Philology Albert Makaryan also told about Arthur as his teacher.
"During his short but meaningful life, Arthur managed to publish two scientific articles, the first of which he wrote before he was 18 years old. "When you read it, you are simply amazed by the knowledge and the ability to compare and analyze the facts," said the professor.
