LOOKS AT THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA AND DRAWS SEVAN
LOOKS AT THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA AND DRAWS SEVAN
"I was excited, when in Kiev after my performance a toast for the Armenian earth that had born such a tenor, was raised".

The tenor is a famous worldwide Armenian man Vahram Tadevosyan - Vanno Tadeo, who was the guest of YSU today. The artist, who had arrived in Armenia to perform a solo concert dedicated to the independence of Armenia, was invited here by the initiative of Student Council of the Faculty of Economics.

Our faculty has always faced the lack of cultural life,- said Karlen Khachatryan, head of Student Council of the above mentioned faculty,- after this meeting we will do our best to invite such personalities of art world at least twice each semester.

This meeting with Alma Mater is not the first for V. Tadevosyan. The first time was in 1994. During the ceremony dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the University his first steps were highly appreciated by YSU tutors and students with their applauses.

In 1996, owing to the sponsorship of All-Armenian Catholicos Garegin A, he participated in the international contest after F. Vikinse, where was awarded Diploma and prize after Verdi. Later relations with the representatives of art world of other countries were established, and our tenor, as many other talented Armenian singers, moved abroad. Now is the 7th year of his life in Spain.

Mr.Tadevosyan started serious music art in elder age, as his father, well-known painter Levon Tadevosyan wished for his son to continue his way. And a good friend of their family, a great performer of spiritual songs Lusine Zakaryan appreciated Vahram's musical talent. Having graduated from Art College after Terlemezyan he realized that painting colors must be used by him in a different sphere.

My father wanted me to excel him in the area of painting, but once I told him that only one in each family must be painter. At first, of course, he did not accept the reality, but when the first success was obvious, most of all he was glad,-said V. Tadevosyan during the conversation with students.

Today when our opera tenor has leisure time for a month or two, he takes brush and paints and creates Sevan, looking at the Mediterranean. He also organizes exhibitions at Armenian gallery of Spain.

In the end of the meeting one of the students asked him to say the formula of modern genius. I can not say for sure any formula, but I know for sure that only classic values provide one with e the opportunity to be called genius.

Despite the fact that there was no musical instrument in the hall, V.Tadevosyan performed his art as a farewell.
