YSU has a long history of cooperation with the UN Office in Armenia, within the framework of which a number of programs have been implemented. In general, we attach great importance to cooperation with the UN," said Hovhannes Hovhannisyan.

Dean of the Faculty Naghash Martirosyan thanked the representatives of the UN Office for their willingness to work with YSU. "The idea to start this course came from the UN office when we visited the Public Relations and Information Department of the office. It was decided to acquaint future journalists with all the nuances of working with international organizations."

The role of the journalist has always been high and important, as they reveal the truth and inform the public. "The power of journalism and communication has increased with the development of social media, as anyone who has a phone connected to the Internet can provide information, so the role of professional journalism is becoming more important nowadays," said Shombi Sharp and expressed hope that cooperation with YSU will be further expanded.
