YSU-AUA COOPERATION
YSU-AUA COOPERATION
Yesterday YSU hosted the President of the American University of Armenia (AUA) Bruce Boghosian.

American University of Armenia and Yerevan State University have realized several joint projects in the period of last few years, and the visit of Mr. Boghosian to YSU symbolized the continuation of this cooperation.

Since the education at YSU Information Technologies Educational and Research Centre is organized also in English language, in the framework of future cooperation, AUA students can attend lectures at this Centre. The credits, received here, will be taken into account at AUA.

Other possible variant for cooperation is the organization of joint events. One such initiative (in the form of a lecture) is expected in October. Head of YSU International Cooperation Office Alexander Markarov noted that the actual purpose of this event will not be the lecture, but the opinion exchange between people, interested in this area.

Director of YSU ITERC Samvel Shukuryan spoke about the latest achievements of YSU and the experience of cooperation with universities in different countries. Mr. Shukuryan also focused on the centers activities, beginning with the day of foundation, future plans and goals.

According to Bruce Boghosian, AUA and YSU have got great opportunities for cooperation. We can cooperate in the research and study areas, and it is a tendency for the development for both universities.
