SCIENTIFIC TOPIC. YSU PHYSICISTS WILL MODEL A NEW GENERATION OF GAS SENSORS AND "ELECTRONIC NOSE" MICROSYSTEM
The project is dedicated to the fabrication of metal oxide (ZnO, ZrO2 and SiO2) nanostructured thin films (NBTs), carbon nanotubes based on new generation gas sensors and their combination "Electronic Nose" multifunctional microsystem operating in a wide range of temperatures.

According to the scientific director of the topic Mkrtich Yeranosyan, the implementation of the research program will contribute to the establishment and deepening of the university-private relations, the identification of mutual needs and the formation of the necessary infrastructure for their satisfaction.

 

Its purpose is to produce prototypes that are in demand in the market, as well as creating new demand.

"Electronic nose" systems can combine different laboratory functions on the same microchip on a chip, allowing simultaneous detection and recognition of individual components of a gas mixture.
