This opinion belongs to the Chairman of Student Scientific Society, of YSU Faculty of Radiophysics Hasmik Shahinyan. The initiator of the seminar-discussion, held on March 23 at the Faculty of Radiophysics, was the SSS of this faculty.
The purpose of these workshops is to train the students for the preparing to write their graduation works, since some of them are future PHD students and lecturers, so it is important for them to know how to speak in a correct way, - said a PHD in the area of Radiophysics, SSS member Michael Arakelyan.
Reports read by sophomores Emma Gabriyelyan, Hovhannes Kasarjyan students and a second year master Garegin Melikjanyan, focused on a number of substances used and considered to be relevant in physics and Radiophysics. Speakers also presented the effect of the Bohr atomic model, X-rays and the porous silicium in the field of science.
Hovhannes Kasarjyan, presenting the Bohr atomic model, noted that the atomic model is widely used in physics: The report that I presented, raises questions of stationary and non-stationary states of the Bohr atomic model.
The reports, according to Hasmik Shahinyan, complement each other and for the most part due to major advances in the field of Radiophysics. Seminar topics were chosen by students, they tried to do independent work, and basic information was gathered from the scientific books on physics and Radiophysics, as well as from the Internet.
By the way, the SSS Chairman expressed gratitude to the participants and stated that a large conference is expected at the Faculty of Radiophysics in April, which will affect the broader scope.
