A student conference on the issues of economy started at YSU Faculty of Economics on the 18th of December.

In the student scientific conference, organized by SSS of this faculty, students-economists took part only.

19 reports, made at this conference, covered most various areas of economy: The psychology in advertising, Bribery and its influence on economic growth, Unemployment, Coffee with aroma of economy, etc.

This conference is not a standard one, as the reports were discussed by jury, which was formed by lecturers from various chairs of the faculty.

The jury estimated reports by in advance chosen 4 criteria: quality, novelty, presentation and urgency. The highest mark on each of criteria was 10 points.

Lilit Popoyan is a first year master and her topic is Dollarization and the factors causing it in the RA.

Lilit had analyzed some questions on creation of money in our country, their development and establishment together with actual methods of overcoming of the obstacles, appeared in the process of its development. Lilit also considers that todays youth has got a great potential, which can be applied in science development.

By the way, conference will be held in 2 rounds during which 3 authors of the best reports will be awarded and reports will be published.

THE YSU LAW CLINIC CONTINUES TO PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS
The official closing ceremony of the training phase of the program entitled "Information about the country of origin in the context of asylum decision procedures" took place in the courtroom of the Faculty of Law of YSU.
YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY HOSTED STUDENTS FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Within the framework of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) International Science and Technology Initiative (MISTI) Global Teaching Labs (GTL) program Yerevan State University (YSU) hosted three students back in January this year for the first time. MIT students Yu Jing Chen, Anne Snyder, and Sean Zhang taught three different subjects and held hands-on workshops for YSU students.
