CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 18TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE YSU FACULTY OF SOCIOLOGY IN YSU
The purpose of the SSS annual youth conference was to promote the active scientific activity of students and publicize the work of young researchers.

During the conference, seven students of the faculty presented reports, the main thematic areas of which were sociology, social work, conflict theory, public relations, and human resource management. According to the selection of the professional committee, the author of the best work will receive a monetary award, and the second and third-place participants will receive incentive prizes. The best papers will be selected based on the relevance of the topic, presentation skills, time management ability, appropriateness of research methods and problems, and other principles.

Before the start of the conference, Artur Atanesyan, head of YSU Applied Sociology Chair, gave a welcome speech and briefly presented the 18-year history of the faculty and the scientific activities of students.

According to the organizers of the youth conference, this conference is symbolic because it did not take place in 2020 due to the pandemic, and last year it was organized online.

Armine Ghalamdaryan, president of the Faculty of Sociology SSS, pointed out the periodic developments of the faculty, then added that it is important for the faculty to help students engaged in scientific activities in every possible way so that they can present themselves properly and present their researches and analyses.

Gayane Davtyan, a student of the Faculty of Sociology of YSU, presented a report on "The level of trust of RA citizens in the Republic of Armenia towards state institutions". According to Gayane, she is participating in a conference for the first time, and this is an attempt to understand how to present herself at conferences.

"The professorial staff of our faculty is constantly in touch with students to help them write scientific works, publish articles, maintain research ethics, and other issues. I attach great importance to the fact that thanks to the strong student-lecturer connection, we are able to record successful scientific results," Gayane said.

Representatives of YSU Sociology faculty, graduates, students, and other persons interested in the field, attended the event.
